Hi Katherine,
I am finding almost nothing about a "CliNton's Cafeteria" in Los Angeles. However, I am finding quite a lot, including a photo of a sign, about a "CliFton's Cafeteria" in Los Angeles. Could you mean "Clifton's Cafeteria"? I think the owner's name was "Clinton", but the cafeteria's name was "Clifton."
Anyhow, I cannot find a recipe for "chocolate chunk cookies" from either.
