Hello Jim,
Sorry, no luck. "Italian-cooking.com" or "italiancooking.com" seems to have vanished from the Internet and taken all of its content with it. All attempts to find any record of it redirect to a page saying that the domain is for sale, even in the "Internet Archives." If anyone saved that recipe from that website, they did not mention the website itself in their post. There are dozens of posts on the web of recipes for "Italian Easter Lamb Cake" and although most are for lamb-shaped cakes made using molds, some are for regular shaped cakes with a lamb's face painted on top. However, your description gives me little way to identify the particular one that you want. You can look through the photos of them by going to Google, typing in "Italian Easter Lamb Cake, " and choosing "images" or use this url:
If you can provide a detailed url for a website location at which that particular recipe was posted in the past, even if it is no longer there, I might be able to locate an archived copy of it. Lacking that or a unique identifier for the recipe that you want, all I can do is post this in the hope that someone who reads it has the recipe and can match it to your description.
