I don't cook the recipes that are posted on my site, nor have I actually tasted most of the recipes on my site. So, I avoid making recommendations for "good" or "great" recipes for a particular dish. What I do on this site is just search for particular recipes that I have been asked to find. I cannot say whether a particular recipe is good or great.
Of course, I have eaten chicken and dumplings many times. My wife made them for dinner last night. My mother used to make the best ones that I have ever eaten, but I do not have her recipe. I would not send you a recipe and say it was "great." Everyone's taste for a dish, and everyone's experience of the dish in their past, forms their opinion of what is a "good" or "great" version of that dish. My opinion of "great" chicken and dumplings might be vastly different from yours. So all I can do is refer you to the recipes for the dish that I have found in the past. These are links to them.
