Subject: pineapple frozen dessert

My 90-year-old mother-in-law is remembering a dessert she made in the 40s & 50s.
It definitely contained crushed graham crackers and crushed pineapple. The crackers
were definitely not used to make a crust. They were mixed in with the other ingredients.
She put it in the freezer, possibly back in the graham cracker box as a form, and served
it in slices. She remembers it being very sweet, and a delicious dessert. It did not
involve any cooking of any ingredients. Any ideas?
Thanks so much,

Hi Melanie,

The below recipe is the closest that I can find to your description.

thanks so much! She is thrilled to get this recipe. She says it sounds just like the
one she used to make and can't believe you found it so fast. I told her you were in
Mississippi and she almost fainted. well it's a new world. Again, thanks very very much.
