I cannot find any mention at all of a LAUSD "white cake" with "white frosting." I do have the "coffee cake" recipe, but it is not a white cake and it does not have white frosting. Also, it is extremely rare for a recipe to state that it is from a particular era, such as the 1960s. Sorry, just not enough clues to find any reference to it.
