Pot Roast Sandwiches

While searching for a Dairy Queen pot roast sandwich recipe, which I did not find, I found the below pot roast sandwich recipes.

Arby's Pot Roast Sandwich

1 (3 to 4 pound) roast
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Place roast in crockpot. Stir remaining ingredients together and pour over roast. 
Cook on LOW all night.

The next morning stir together. Remove any membrane or fat if desired. Stir well again. 
Let simmer on LOW until noon or evening.

Serve on buns.

Pot Roast Sandwich
Bob Evans Copycat Recipe

1 small onion, sliced
2 slices grilled sourdough bread
leftover pot roast and carrots, heated
1 slice American or Swiss cheese
creamy horseradish sauce (optional)

Grill onion until golden brown. Grill or toast the sourdough bread. Spread horseradish 
sauce on one slice of bread, if using. Add heated pot roast and carrots, piled high. 
Cover with grilled onions.
Top with American or Swiss cheese. Finish with other slice of sourdough bread.

Copycat Culver's Beef Pot Roast Sandwich Recipe 

Ingredients Only
4 C. beef broth
1 T. onion soup mix
3 lb. beef blade roast
6 sandwich buns of choice, toasted
1/4 C. pickle chips
4 T. mayonnaise
2 large tomatoes, sliced
6 leaves lettuce of choice

Another Copycat Culver's Beef Pot Roast Sandwich

Serving Size / Yield
10 sandwiches
Ingredients
4 pounds bottom round beef roast
1 can French onion soup
1 can beer
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 teaspoon pepper
10 sandwich rolls
10 slices American cheese
Lettuce

Directions
Add the meat to the crockpot and sprinkle with the onion soup mix. Pour in the
can of soup and beer. Add the bouillon cubes and season with salt and pepper. 
Cook for 5 hours on high. Remove the meat and slice it. Place the beef back in 
the crockpot and cover. Keep on low heat until serving time. To assemble the 
sandwich, place a slice of cheese in each roll and top with meat and then lettuce.
