Hi! I am trying to find a recipe for the tuna salad sandwiches from Worman's Bakery & Deli, a Jewish deli
that was on Broad Street in downtown Jacksonville, Florida from 1923-2009. I remember the tuna had a dill
taste to it and was very dry, in a good way (not gloppy & mayonnaise drenched). It was a wonderful treat
to eat tuna salad sandwiches at Worman's with my mom & sisters as a teenager, and then have their
fantastic cheesecake slices for dessert afterwards. I would love to make their tuna salad at home!
Thank you for your help.

Hi Allison,

I did not have any success locating any recipes at all from Warman's. The only mention of their tuna salad
that I could find was on a copy of their menu.

Probably the only way to get this would be from a former employee or from the family itself.
I will post this on my site for reader input.

Haven’t had a better one yet!
Can you help.

Hi Suzanne,

The first recipe below was posted on a message board by someone who represented themselves
as being from Howard Johnson's.

The second recipe was posted in a New York Times article about Howard Johnson's.
